OneBigBeautifulBill.US separates public reading, official-source evidence, analysis, and community discussion so each system has a clear job.
Public reader
Section titled “Public reader”- Astro builds the public site and its static reader pages.
- Starlight supplies accessible documentation-style navigation, search, page structure, and responsive presentation.
- Cloudflare serves the generated site and its small runtime boundary.
Community discussion
Section titled “Community discussion”- Discourse handles forum identity, topics, replies, permissions, moderation, and community interaction.
- DiscussionBridge connects approved site pages to their corresponding Discourse discussions without making forum content a legal authority.
The public page remains useful independently of the forum. Discussion links and comments extend the reader; they do not determine the official text, resulting law, or analytical conclusions.
Source processing
Section titled “Source processing”Official legal material is acquired and processed through reviewed, source-specific workflows. Generated output must retain provenance and pass the relevant source, route, and reader checks before publication. Cached, diagnostic, superseded, or forum-derived material is not silently promoted into official authority.
Open work
Section titled “Open work”The site and DiscussionBridge continue to evolve. Planned work includes richer editorial publishing, improved diagram viewing, and an optional DiscussionBridge for Discourse plugin for forum-governed advanced integration. Current behavior and future plans are kept distinct.
